Shannon Smith is currently a Senior Director for the New York City Department of Education. Born in Detroit, MI, Shannon prides himself as an advocate for students and families and believes it is an honor and privilege to serve.  Shannon holds a Doctorate in Education from Fordham University. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, spending time with his dog, Sage and his lovely wife, Lisa.
